Mayor Figueroa is a Proven Leader

I am proud to have served as your Mayor this year and of all that our city has accomplished. We are so blessed to live in this wonderful city. Rancho Santa Margarita is an award-winning master planned community where residents enjoy an outstanding quality of life. To ensure our city remains a great place to live, we need dedicated, proven and experienced leaders on our City Council. It would be my honor to once again serve as with my fellow council colleges as your city council woman!

Under Mayor Figueroa’s Leadership…

RSM is Safe: Ranked by the FBI as the #1 safest city in Orange County – and the #1 safest city of its size in California.

RSM is Financially Strong: Our city has a balanced budget and a general fund reserve of $25 million dollars. This surplus enables the council to continue to provide new capital improvement projects in our city.

RSM is Beautiful: We’ve installed enhanced street lighting/median improvements across our city. Next year we plan to commence construction of a gorgeous new monument sign at the entrance of our city on Antonio Parkway.

RSM Provides a Special Quality of Life: We just opened a fabulous new Splash Pad in Central Park that will be enjoyed for generations. We’ve synchronized streetlights to reduce traffic, upgraded our city’s animal services contract to join a local “no kill” shelter, and sponsored the annual Rancho Family-Fest community celebration, as well as the very popular free Summer Concerts at Central Park.
